EXPERIENCED GAME PROGRAMMER WANTED

AGENIUS INTERACTIVE (www.agenius.no) is a game company located in Kristiansand/Norway. The company consists of highly skilled and passionate designers, programmers and artists.

We are at the moment looking for a skilled and experienced programmer (preferably DS experience) who wants to develop a new breed of games for a global market. The positions requires relocation for at 6 month, but with possibilities of a permanent full-time position for the right person.

This is an excellent opportunity to experience the beautiful, exotic and prosperous city of Kristiansand in Norway/Scandinavia.

The DS Programmer will be responsible for leading the programming tasks on the DS console within the company. Programming responsibilities may include several aspects of game development ranging from user interface, gameplay, audio to network.

Responsibilities:
- Planning, designing, debugging and implementing code for our projects
- Collaborating with other teammates in various projects to develop great entertainment

Professional Requirements:
- Fluent in C/C++ programming with good debugging and optimization skills
- Professional game programming experience, preferably with at least three published title
- Handheld console game development experience, such as Game Boy Advance or Nintendo DS
- Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: 2D graphics, game engine, database, interface, wifi/network
- Able to document, schedule and scope own programming tasks
- Good math skills

- Well organized and with great attention to details
- Self-motivated, loyal and strong work ethic
- A dedicated problem solver who never quits
- Good communications skills and fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Passionate about games and creating world-class innovative entertainment
- Willing to relocate to Agenius HQ in Kristiansand/Norway
