Lead 2D Graphic Artist

Our client is a world leader in mobile entertainment, the first company in the world to demonstrate multi-player WAP games.

Responsibilities:

• Projects – actively participate in all stages of a project life cycle in conjunction with the full project team (design, code, QA, etc). This includes pre-production, game development (accurate estimates, art implemented as requested), and smooth/timely handover into porting. Ensure all project deliverables are maintained to appropriate standards.

• Art Creation – understand and apply “best practices”. This includes the creation of the highest quality art assets within the limitations set down by the team. Creating the right quality of assets and understanding the limitations of mobile game development. Working with the coding team to improve the art pipeline and delivering the art at the right time to support the game development. Working with marketing to supply marketing material to support the release of the game.

• Tools – be competent in the use of all tools used in the production of art for mobile development. This includes Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro and 3D Studio Max. Stay abreast of new tools/technology.

• Company Business Goals – gain an understanding of different company business units, their customers, goals, deliverables, and key dates (e.g. roadmap). Be capable of using this knowledge to plan-ahead, assess impact, synchronise & prioritise efforts, and identify red flags.

• Mobile Games Expertise – Knowledge of mobile devices, mobile games, and carrier certification criteria, & carrier requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree qualifications in Art (or graphic design), or industrial experience

• Knowledge of the production of digital art assets and techniques in the use of these assets in the development on computer games.

• Experience of creating both 2D Pixel art and 3D textured models.

• Practical experience of creating art used in mobile game development.

• Good communication skills and an ability to work both as a part of a team and on your own.

• An awareness of the mobile games and games industry in general.

Nu am prea intales ce cereti aici. Artworker, Programator, modelator 3d sau game designer. Un asfel de anunt e pentru mine sau orcine alcineva
care va vedea anuntu mi se pare cam pretentios. Nu cred ca gasiti pe cineva care are toate calitatile astea decat a mai lucrat in asemenea firama care face jocuri. Ei si nu e nustiu ce lucru ca e in engleza. Ma rog Andrea e nume romanesc nu englezesc. Atunci de ce vorbesti numai in engleza sau romana nu intelegi.
